Get It Done

Every second counts, so let’s get right to it. 1 idea, 2 ways it saves you time, and 3 steps to Get It Done:
When stress hits, stop, break the pattern, recalibrate, and get back on track.
1. Breaks the stress spiral fast – Stress steals focus, making simple tasks take twice as long. A reset interrupts the cycle, so you regain control.
2. Prevents wasted hours – Instead of losing an entire afternoon to frustration or anxiety, a quick reset helps you refocus and keep moving.
1. Step away for at least 60 seconds – Physically remove yourself from the task. Stand up, look out a window, or walk to another room.
2. Do a “pattern break” – Shake off tension with 5 deep breaths, stretch your arms, or splash cold water on your face — anything that snaps you out of the stress loop.
3. Ask: “What’s my next action?” – Instead of overanalyzing, focus on the one small thing you can do next. Stress thrives on uncertainty — action kills it.
Stress happens, but it doesn’t have to wreck your day. Hit reset, take control, and get back to what matters.
“But what if I don’t have time to take a break?”
When stressed, you don’t need time — You need a shift. Even one deep breath and a conscious reset can break the stress cycle. The faster you reset, the less time you lose.
As promised — 1 minute that can save you hours

P.S. I tried skipping my stress reset and just “powering through”… somehow ended up deep in a Wikipedia rabbit hole about penguins. Productivity ruined. 🐧😂
