Get It Done

Every second counts, so let’s get right to it. 1 idea, 2 ways it saves you time, and 3 steps to Get It Done:
Do a quick midday review to reset your priorities and stop the afternoon from drifting off course.
1. Stops you drifting into low-value work – Without a check-in, it’s easy to get lost in busywork. A midday review pulls you back to what matters most.
2. Protects your afternoon energy – Midday is often a slump zone. A quick reset lets you refocus while you still have energy left to make real progress.
1. Set a daily reminder – Try 12:30 or 1pm. When it goes off, stop and review your day so far.
2. Ask yourself three questions: What’s done? What’s dragging? What’s my one priority for the rest of the day?
3. Adjust accordingly – If you’re off track, reset your plan. If you’re on track, recommit to your next move.
You don’t need more hours — you need better direction. A 2-minute midday check-in can save you an afternoon of drifting and distractions.
“But I’m in the middle of work at that time!”
Pause anyway. This isn’t a break, it’s a reset. Two minutes now saves two hours of working on the wrong thing later.
As promised — 1 minute that can save you hours
