Get It Done
sent by Joaquín Kosegarten | December 09, 2025
Every second counts, so let’s get right to it. 1 idea, 2 ways it saves you time, and 3 steps to Get It Done:
Before switching tasks, take a moment to think about a problem you’re trying to solve. Your brain will keep working on it in the background, even while you rest, walk, or shower.
1. Unlocks hidden creativity – Instead of wasting time forcing ideas, you let them come naturally. This often leads to better solutions with less effort.
2. Stops overthinking – Your brain keeps working in the background while you do other things.
1. Write your problem clearly – Ask: “How can I solve X in a simple way?” or “What’s a smarter approach to Y?”
2. Write it down and step away – Jot it on a sticky note or in your notes app, then move on to something else.
3. Make space for ideas to show up – Go for a walk, take a shower, or work on something unrelated. Be ready to catch any ideas that pop up.
Great ideas don’t always come from grinding. They come from space. Plant the problem, walk away, and let your brain surprise you.
“But what if I forget the problem?”
That’s the point of writing it down. Keep a short list of open problems and check it once or twice a day, you might spot a breakthrough when you least expect it.
As promised — 1 minute that can save you hours

P.S. I asked my brain to brainstorm while I made lunch. It came back with sandwich ideas. Not quite what I meant, but still helpful. 🥪
