Get It Done

Every second counts, so let’s get right to it. 1 idea, 2 ways it saves you time, and 3 steps to Get It Done:
When your focus fades, do a 90-second attention reset to clear mental noise and start fresh.
1. Clears mental leftovers – Task switching leaves behind “mental clutter” that slows you down. A quick reset helps your brain fully let go and re-engage.
2. Prevents the productivity slump – Instead of struggling through fog, you regain clarity and save time you’d otherwise waste staring blankly at your screen.
1. Step away briefly – Stand up, change location, or face away from your work for 90 seconds.
2. Break the pattern – Breathe deeply, stretch, or focus your eyes on a distant object.
3. Ask: “What am I doing next?” – Lock back onto your task with intention, not on autopilot.
You don’t always need a break, you just need a reset. Give your brain 90 seconds, and it’ll give you the next hour back.
“Is 90 seconds really enough?”
Absolutely. It’s not about major recovery, it’s about pausing just long enough to clear the static and restart with intention.
As promised — 1 minute that can save you hours

P.S. I stepped away for 90 seconds to clear my head… then accidentally cleaned the kitchen. Not what I planned, but hey, still productive. 😄
